MAYNE -A Profoundly DISAPPOINTING DECISION

MAYNE BACK IN AS TOWN BOARD MEMBER - Put back on the Highway Dept & Reappointed as "Deputy Supervisor".... a PROFOUNDLY DISAPPOINTING decision by the Town Board...Clint Abrams, Dewitt Head, Joe Walker and Supervisor Salka voted unanimously to reinstate Mayne who was defeated in last November's election for that very seat. Despite 6 other qualified candidates with experience and fres ideas, the Board decided that because there were too many "new" Board Members that they needed "continuity"...continuity of just "what"....inertia?.... While you may have had great hopes for the new Board, sadly, the old adage "the more we change/the more we stay the same" certainly applies to this first major Board decision...so folks, don't get your hopes up on this "team"....
