New farming, gardening fair coming to Morrisville
MORRISVILLE, N.Y. -- A new fair, filled with exhibits and demonstrations geared toward farmers and avid gardeners, is coming to Morrisville next month.
The Small Farm & Homestead Fair will take place at SUNY Morrisville on March 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
About 100 vendors and artisans, plus entertainment and kid's activities, round out the festival.
The event is a collaboration among Chicks & Hens, a natural parenting store in DeWitt, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Madison County Agricultural Development and SUNY Morrisville.
Where: SUNY Morrisville, 80 Eaton St. Morrisville
When: Saturday, March 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
How much: Admission is $2 for adults and free for children ages 15 and under. Special presentations, expect for the keynote speech included in admission, are $5. Tickets are available at chicksandhens.com.
