DEC Graduate Daniel Plows


From WKTV....Local officer, DANIEL R. PLOWS,  graduates from DEC's 21st Basic School

Forty new recruits have graduated from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s 21st Basic School for Uniformed Officers, including a local environmental conservation officer, Daniel R. Plows.

(ECO's) .. duties include things such as investigating and checking deer and fishing licenses to conducting surveillance on corporate chemical dumping.

(RANGERS) The forest rangers' duties include tasks such as protecting state lands and forests, search and rescue missions, wildfire suppression and educating the public about safe use of state lands.
