Very sad to see that the Flick's Tavern fiasco continues... despite surveys and deeds, Kabana says he owns the Town's well and has claimed the land in between is his according to a 1906 deed. He continues to refuse to move his personal effects and vehicles.
This issue has dragged on for years....yes YEARS...The Board has no idea what to do other than spending tax dollars to have the Town Attorney, Tina Wayland-Smith, write feckless letters $$...these letters never say they are going to charge Kabana for the cost of removing the his personal items, nor does it give him a deadline???....what the hell is the Sheriff's office for??...arrest him for trespass???
No....there is "SOMETHING ELSE" going on here ....Frank must have something over the Board that they won't take action?! Sure looks like it...wonder what Frank knows that has made cowards out of the Town Board.
Supervisor Salka's suggestion: Build a BARRIER.... or better yet, let's build a whole new TOWN HALL! Yes, that's on his agenda with the "secret" committee to explore the idea. Hand picked and unnamed members.... Frankly, this is a fine example of why things don't work in this TOWN! NO BALLS to do the right thing! And we vote these people in again?????
