Madison County Fair Board seeks nominations for board members

The Madison County Fair is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the 2018 board of directors. Every year, nominations are opened up to fill seats left by board members whose terms are expiring or for those whose seats have been vacated. Residents of Madison County, along with our good neighboring counties (Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Oneida and Otsego) are eligible and can nominate themselves.

Nominees must be at least 18 years of age and have an interest in making Madison County Fair a success. Send nominations to the address below by Nov. 10; include contact information and how you could contribute to the success of the Madison County Fair.

If you would like to get involved and share your talents to make a difference in your community, but are not ready to commit to a seat on the board; we would still like to hear from you. We are currently seeking a candidate to serve as the superintendent for the poultry department. There is always a need for enthusiastic, energetic, hardworking and dedicated volunteers to help make the Madison County Fair the best it can be.
